Architect, Builder, Designer, Assembler, Maker.
I am not entirely sure what came first, my fascination with taking things apart or my interest in making, but both have seemed to shape how I operate.
Having a knack for [dis]assembling - from taking apart childhood toys, my motorcycle, or my house to assembling kits, bikes, furniture, and designs - I’ve been fascinated by the way components/materials come together to work succinctly as a whole. It is the simple act of taking objects apart to figure how it was put together that peaks my interest. But also the reverse, the act of assembly – building something with various individual parts to create. I use both of these methodologies in my architecture, my graphics, and any project I take on.
I am a registered architect in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and in the state of New Hampshire. I am a NCARB certificate holder and a member of the American Institute of Architects.
